Important information about prescriptions, medications, and the limits of what ZYLRX can do.

1. ZYLRX Is Not a Pharmacy

ZYLRX is a technology platform that connects you with licensed providers and licensed pharmacies. We do not dispense, manufacture, or distribute medications ourselves. All prescriptions are filled by licensed pharmacies that operate under the regulations of their respective states.

2. Prescriptions Require Provider Approval

Submitting an intake form does not guarantee you will receive a prescription. A licensed medical provider must review your case and determine, in their clinical judgment, that the requested treatment is appropriate for you. Reasons a provider may decline include:

3. Compounded Medications

Some treatments offered through ZYLRX (such as compounded GLP-1 agonists) are prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies registered with the FDA as 503A or 503B facilities. Compounded medications:

4. Side Effects & Risks

All medications carry potential side effects and risks. Your provider will discuss the specific risks of your medication during your consultation and you'll receive written information with your prescription. Common categories of risk include:

If you experience a severe reaction — difficulty breathing, severe abdominal pain, swelling of the face or throat, chest pain, or any reaction that feels life-threatening — stop the medication and call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

5. Results Vary

The clinical statistics quoted on ZYLRX (such as average weight loss percentages or hormone level improvements) come from clinical trials and represent average outcomes. Your individual results may be better, worse, or different. Many factors influence outcomes, including:

No treatment provided through ZYLRX is guaranteed to work for any individual.

6. Brand Names Are Trademarks of Their Owners

References to branded medications (Ozempic®, Wegovy®, Mounjaro®, Zepbound®, etc.) on ZYLRX are for informational purposes only. These are registered trademarks of their respective owners. ZYLRX is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any pharmaceutical manufacturer.

7. Controlled Substances

Treatments involving controlled substances are subject to additional federal and state regulations, including DEA registration, state-specific prescribing rules, and limits on remote prescribing. Not all controlled substances are available via telehealth in all states.

8. Drug Interactions & Other Medications

You must disclose all medications, supplements, and recreational substances you use to your provider. Failure to do so may result in dangerous drug interactions for which ZYLRX cannot be held liable.

9. Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Many treatments offered through ZYLRX are not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, you must inform your provider before starting any treatment.

10. Storage & Handling

Follow all storage instructions provided with your medication. Some medications require refrigeration; others must be protected from light or heat. Improper storage can affect medication potency or safety.

11. Disposal

Dispose of expired or unused medications properly. Do not flush most medications down the toilet. The DEA's drug take-back programs and many pharmacies accept unused medications for safe disposal.

12. Questions

Questions about a medication should go to your provider or pharmacist first. For platform or service questions, email support@zylrx.com or use our contact form.
